He took an antiquated idea and has turned it into a major fund raiser for us. His skills in the art of fundraising will help not only Omar Temple but more importantly the burned and crippled child. My hats off to you worshipful noble. Call on me if I can help you on your journey. You were raised in a military family who understood the sacrifices and rewards of serving their country. We who have served are richer for having done so. Those who have not are challenged to understand. Some do but many don't. I think you do and that is one reason I count you among my dearest friends. We went for a long time with our service men only being mentioned in Presidental speaches and around holidays to now an everyday occurance. These men are protecting our freedom which too many take for granted. My 86 year old father was at Pearl Harbor and lost many of his friends. He asked me if I thought they would need a man of his age who has had 3 heart attacks and a stroke to go over and help. He was joking but if it came down to it I believe he would. We have lost thousands of men in the name of Freedom and even though the wars have changed and the losses are fewer, every man that has given his life, has given it for the safety of every American. This is now a war for gas, talk to someone who has been there to hear their side and believe less of what you hear on TV. Support our Troops and our President. If there is something I've learned over the years is that if you are in charge there is always others that will complain about the ways you do things, and the ones that complain the most don't ever do anything anyway. There are far too many cry babies these days. How do they think they got their freedom? Freedom isn't free and never will be. I am so proud of my dad and my husband who have both fought in wars. My dad from a proud generation of men who served their country without whining about the cost and my husband in an unpopular war. A war far worse than what is being fought now. He didn't whine either. People need to wake up and grow up. I totally agree with Mr.Mill. There are far too many cry babies these days. How do they think they got their freedom?
