The Grand Architect of the Universe has been please to call Worshipful Brother Ernest H. Williams, Past Master of Summerville Masonic Lodge No. 234, to his Home.
Worshipful Brother Williams was Master of the Lodge in 1982 and passed away on December 31, 2007.
The Officers and Members are invited to attend the Memorial Services of our late member, Worshipful Brother Ernest H. Williams, Past Master. Lodge will be opened on the Third Degree at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 7, 2008. Memorial Services will be held at the Dorchester Shrine Club, Highway 61, Summerville, SC at 2:00 P.M.

Well, I know that’s what most of you are saying. But it’s true! I thought now would be a good time to send out some information about things that have taken place recently at the Lodge.
As most everyone knows, the Lodge Room has been under some renovation for the last month or so. We have had to have several meetings downstairs and it was finally nice to have the final meeting for 2007, including the Election and Installation of Officers upstairs. I know that the Eastern Star as well as the Rainbow and DeMolay will be happy to finally have their meetings upstairs again. We still have a little work to do, but things have come a long way.
I especially want to thank all of those who have taken the time to work upstairs. The progress we have made could not have been accomplished with out you!
If you haven’t been in a long while now would be a great time to check things out again and support your Lodge, Chapter and Assembly. As part of our renovation process we have decided to replace all of the side line chairs in the Lodge room. This project has been very well received and at this writing we have had 53 of the available 87 chairs donated. Read the rest of this entry »

Ridgeville Masonic Lodge No. 361 is having a Spring Fish Fry and Catfish Stew fundraiser on May 12, 2007 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Dinners are only $6.00 a plate. Please help support our Brothers up in Ridgeville!

This late breaking news is just into the Summerville Lodge News room….
The Master Mason Degree which was originally scheduled for May 1, 2007 has been postponed. One of our candidates is going to be out of town and the other two in the class did not want to go without their partner.
A practice for the E.A. Degree will be held in its place and the MM will be rescheduled.
