Another proud moment for Summerville Masonic Lodge!
On Saturday January 12, 2008 our very own Worshipful Brother Kenny Craven was elected to serve Omar Shine Temple as Oriental Guide. Worshipful Brother Craven has worked very hard to support the Temple over the past several years, and has worked to make the “Smoke at the Beach” one of the most successful fund raisers at the temple. With Noble Craven’s election he is in line to serve as Potentate of Omar Temple in 2012.
Worshipful Brother Craven has always been a very active Mason and was Master of Summerville Lodge in 1994. Worshipful Brother Craven has also put his expertise to good use and has made our “Smoke at the Lodge” fundraiser so successful that we have been able to continue the tradition of supporting charities through out the town of Summerville.
Noble Craven joins an elite group of Masons at Summerville being only the second Mason / Shriner to serve on the Divan. Worshipful Brother Vistor I. Bull served Summerville No. 234 as Master in 1957 and Served Omar Temple as Potentate in 1970.
Congratulation Worshipful Brother Craven, and know that your Lodge is here to support you.
