Fun at the OES Field Day
Even though the day started out pretty cold and everyone was wondering if we had lost our minds. The OES Field Day turned out to be a fun way to spend the morning. The Worthy Matron, Theresa McKnight and her accomplice Sister Lea Roberson, planned a fun and exciting morning. Unfortunately the turn out was not what we had hoped for, maybe we will blame it on the cold, but the Rainbow Girls turned out and really helped to make the day fun!
We want to thank Worshipful Brother Al Abbott, Worshipful Master of Old Fort Lodge No. 420 for allowing us to use the large field behind the Lodge building for our activities. Not only did he allow us to use the facilities he was also there after we had finished, to make everyone coffee and hot chocolate. We can’t thank him enough because it turned out to really hit the spot.
Although the obstacle course turned out to be a little challenging for some of us older folks, as you can plainly see from some of the photos posted in the Photo Gallery ( click here ) we didn’t give up. Some of us were a little sore the next day but it was all in fun.
Special thanks to Sister Theresa McKnight for her efforts to get everyone together and share in some good family fun during this special time of the year.
Happy Easter!
