The March Regular meeting of Summerville Chapter No. 143 was held on March 26th, 2007. The meeting was held downstairs and was well attended, by at least 36 at one count. Hello Everyone,
In an effort to keep the website more current on a daily basis, I am testing this new Weblog feature.
For those of you who do not know what a Blog is, you can visit the Wikipedia site here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weblog and it should explain everything.
This little feature will hopefully allow us to easily update everyone on News and Functions that are happening at the lodge and provide and archive of individual items that can be searched on by you, the user.

The Lodge will be opened in due form on the 3rd Degree of Masonry for the purposes of paying our final respects to our departed brother, Right Worshipful Brother Elmer G. Hunt, Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Third Masonic District, on Sunday March 4, 2007 at 12:30 P.M. Afterwards we will attend the services and accompany our brother to the grave side. The family has requested that Summerville Lodge members act as pallbearers, anyone who is able to help please call Jamie @ 607-9228.
All officers and members are encouraged to attend.
The viewing for Right Worshipful Brother Elmer will be at Dyal Funeral home on Saturday March 3, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Services will be Sunday March 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m., at Stallsville United Methodist Church ( follow link for map ). As of this writing we are not sure about Masonic Services, as soon as we know, we will publish that information here as to what time we will open the Lodge. Continue to check back.
